SERVICE MODEL STUDY FOR PRINT DISABLED PATRONS

REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL

AMIGOS Library Services invites qualified consultants, research organizations, and firms to submit proposals to conduct a multi-regional study of service models for print-disabled patrons. This project will help state library agencies better understand how services are currently delivered, identify gaps and opportunities, and develop practical, scalable models that can be adapted across regions.

The selected contractor will conduct research across approximately four to six states, engage current users and non-users of services, assess existing service models, and develop a framework of state-level service approaches along with a toolkit that can be used to replicate the study in other regions.

The project has an anticipated budget of $20,000–$40,000, with an anticipated award date of August 31, 2026. Proposals are due by 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on July 17, 2026.
